VAMONOS VACATIONS TERMS OF SERVICE
Vendors & Suppliers
Vamonos Vacations acts solely as a reservations agent for the actual suppliers of travel services. The airlines, hotels, cruises, tours, ground operators, attractions, and other suppliers whose travel or other services are offered are independent third parties and not subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, or employees of Vamonos Vacations. Vamonos Vacations is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of the suppliers, or any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damages or expenses resulting therefrom. Vamonos Vacations has no liability and is unable to make any refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, riot, act of terrorism, war, weather, travel restrictions, force majeure, epidemics, pandemics, quarantine, or other causes beyond its direct control. The terms and conditions of the vendors and suppliers govern the purchased services or product and we urge you to carefully review all applicable cancellation and refund terms. Furthermore, conditions can change rapidly in a country at any time. It is your responsibility to check the USA Government Travel advisories for your intended destination at travel.state.gov/content/travel.html.
Passports & Visas
U.S. citizens traveling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months past the return date. It is recommended to have at least two blank pages in your passport. Some countries require a visa for transit or entry. All names on travel documents must match the legal name of your passport or government-issued photo identification. Please check the State Department https://travel.state.gov/ for further details. If you are a citizen of another country, you may have additional requirements and should check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are traveling for more details on entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens.
For domestic travel all passengers 18 years of age or older must present one form of government-issued photo ID before boarding a flight.
Risks
Different destinations have different risks levels. For information on health, vaccinations, and safety conditions the client may visit the Centers for Disease Control web site at www.cdc.gov. For information related to the risk level of visiting a specific international destination the client may visit the U.S. Department of State web site http://www.state.gov.
Vamonos Vacations does not represent or guarantee that travel to a specific destination is advisable or without risk. Vamonos Vacations is not liable for costs, damages, or losses that may result from travel to any destinations. By participating on the trip and related activities , the client accepts such events at the client’s own risk.
There is an inherent risk of contracting COVID-19 and its variants while traveling and each traveler must assess their level of risk tolerance. Travel restrictions and requirements (including required documents, proof of vaccination, testing requirements, and mandated quarantine) are constantly changing, including after the commencement of travel. Vamonos Vacations has no responsibility for COVID-19 related requirements that travel suppliers and governments may impose from time to time. We strongly urge to check the latest guidance from the CDC and the State Department travel advisories and review the individual supplier’s websites before traveling.
Travel Itinerary and Invoice
The client must verify and confirm the accuracy of the information provided (passenger name, travel/reservation dates, etc.) in the travel itinerary and invoice before providing payment. Once the travel documents have been issued, Vamonos Vacations is not responsible financially for name change, date change, etc. Penalties for changes may be incurred and will be the client’s responsibility.
Travel Insurance
Vamonos Vacations strongly recommends that the client purchase travel insurance to protect the client’s investment from any unforeseen events. Travel insurance may provide cancellation and interruption coverage as well as emergency medical expenses, emergency medical transportation, evacuation and repatriation, lost or damaged baggage, trip delay, supplier default/bankruptcy protection, job loss protection, and more.
Insurance policies are Non-Refundable.
It is not required to purchase travel insurance in order to purchase any product or service offered by Vamonos Vacations. However, if the client declines to purchase travel insurance protection, Vamonos Vacations requires the client to sign an insurance waiver.
Payments
All travel payments are due prior to departure as specified by each supplier’s terms and conditions of booking. The client must comply with the supplier’s payment conditions of purchase to avoid cancellation of his/her reservations, or to avoid losing any payments for his/her reservation (if installment payments have been done). In some cases, the supplier specifies no refunds once a booking has been made and completely paid. After the booking has been confirmed, the client may not be able to get a refund if he/she changes or cancels the travel itinerary.
The client is responsible to pay all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and estimates related to the client’s travel components bookings processed by Vamonos Vacations. By submitting a credit authorization form to Vamonos Vacations, the client allows Vamonos Vacations to use the credit card to purchase the travel products from suppliers on his/her behalf. The client agrees not to file any dispute with his/her bank or credit card company to avoid or violate any booking terms and conditions of Vamonos Vacations or the suppliers, except in cases of fraud. This includes cancellations or changes of itinerary for reasons beyond the control of Vamonos Vacations or the suppliers. In the case a client tries to chargeback, reverse or recollect a trip payment that has previously authorized, Vamonos Vacations reserves the right to collect all additional costs, fees and expenses related with the chargeback, reversal or recollection including any attorney fees.
Professional fees for Vamonos Vacations services can be paid by credit card or check. In the event the client’s check is returned due to insufficient funds, the client will be responsible for the back service charge of $35.00.
Cancellations
In the event the client wants to cancel a trip itinerary or any of its components, he/she must send request to Vamonos Vacations in writing. Processing cancellation fees will be charged prior to proceed with the cancellation by Vamonos Vacations. Supplier cancellation penalties will apply according to the supplier’s terms and conditions. Cancellation fees will be charged to the client’s credit card or other payment method the client has authorized previously to pay for travel services, or it might be deducted from the Supplier’s refund in accordance to the supplier’s terms and conditions.
